Ridge is a solid minded, smooth, stocky trail horse. Big boned and sturdy enough to carry a man, and personable and handsome enough for a woman. He has experienced many of the local Sierra Foothills and Folsom area riding trails, including: Granite Bay, Sterling Point, Hidden Falls, Cool, Magnolia, Cronin Ranch, Fleming Meadows. He’s been on long and short overnight campouts to Stone Cellar, Tells Creek, Silver Lake, Skillman, and BCHCA equestrian ride-outs. He trailers like a dream, loading by himself, works great with the farrier, and rides barefooted or with front boots for rough granite terrain. He’ll ride anywhere in the lineup, front/middle/back. He is surefooted and laid back. Does not rush, or spook easily, has a great temperament. He moves off of your leg cues for side-passing, opening gates and leg yielding. His gaits are super smooth, including a canter. This is an all around horse that enjoys the trails and is great fun to ride! Asking $4,000.00
